This is where it begins, a journey into the unknown! Well, it's not all that unknown, being a former journalism student I've had the odd blog, written a few published articles, etc, so I'm no stranger to releasing my views and opinions into the public domain, and then discovering that I am wrong.
This first post is less to inform whoever has enough time on their hands to read it, and more to reintroduce me into regular communication with the blogging community. It is also the first time I have written a post regarding education. My previous blogs focused on anything and everything that I found interesting, infuriating and downright ludicrous in the news, as well as regular rants about the failings of my football team (those high up at Forest obviously read my blog as the team's fortunes have since dramatically improved!).
I'll let you into a little secret now: I have absolutely no idea where I am going with this blog. I have set up this account purely on a whim as an accompaniment to an assignment I am writing for my PGCE. I will shortly post some information on the page regarding the assignment, and hopefully readers, including my university peers, will provide useful feedback that I can use to inform my essay.
As for my long term future as a blogger, who knows? I'll have to see how it goes for now.
